Pointers from Lifelong Learners

Week 2 - January 15. Have viewed and reviewed"Pointers from Lifelong Learners" and The 7 1/2 habits of highly successful lifelong learners.

• It's hard to refute this virtue laden philosophy from a personal and professional point of view .
• Look at the hype and research going on in neuroscience, brain building and brain fitness - (Begley; Schwartz; Amen, etc.) There's even a critical course offered by the University of Calgary's Faculty of Education titled, "Lifelong Learning: Theory & Practice" -
• Take a look at Alberta born Dr. Albert Bandura and his contributions to psychology and brain science, ... http://www.fabbs.org/bandura_honor.html.
• OR Cloris Leachman dancing ....http://www.mlive.com/entertainment/grand-rapids/index.ssf/2008/09/dancing_with_the_stars_recap_c.html
• My challenge will be to look attitudinally at problems as challenges -
• First problem - oops, I mean challenge - is time to fit all this in my schedule. I'd better start to fill out my learning contract immediately.

Voilà!! At last - this was quite the exercise.

a) Have created a google account.
b) Have created a blog account.

This was quite a rushed exercise as time has been at a premium. However, following the step-by step approach was not as traumatic as I thought it would be.
